&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Over the last month, two well-known subsystems changed the way they work. OpenVPN acquired a kernel data path that carries traffic. The REST API acquired authentication methods beyond a shared key. Much of everything else came from outside the core team, including the OpenVPN work, which was contributed by an upstream OpenVPN developer.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
