We’re excited to announce that VyOS 1.4.4 LTS has officially achieved Nutanix Ready validation for Nutanix Acropolis Operating System (AOS) 7.3 and AHV Hypervisor 10.3.

This milestone strengthens our collaboration with Nutanix and ensures full interoperability for customers deploying VyOS Universal Router within the Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure solution.

A Step Forward in Network Virtualization

The updated validation confirms that VyOS 1.4.4 LTS delivers enterprise-grade routing, firewall, and VPN capabilities fully optimized for Nutanix environments.
With AOS 7.3, Nutanix introduced key enhancements such as VPCs, NAT Gateways, and L2 Extension, enabling more flexible and secure network architectures.

By integrating VyOS with these new features, joint customers can now simplify their virtual network deployments, extend connectivity between clusters, and automate complex routing scenarios with ease.

What the Validation Means

Through the Nutanix Ready program, VyOS completed a full suite of technical validation tests, including:

• Deployment on AHV 10.3 with AOS 7.3
  
  
• Integration with Prism Central for centralized management
  
  
• Compatibility with Nutanix networking components such as VPC and NAT Gateway.
  
  
• Cross-cluster migration and automation testing
  
  

These results confirm that VyOS 1.4.4 LTS meets the highest technical standards for interoperability with Nutanix infrastructure.

VyOS is now officially listed in the Nutanix Compatibility and Interoperability Matrix as a validated network solution for AOS 7.3 environments.
